Net Zero Transformation Campaign Privacy Notice
The Net Zero Transformation Campaign features information hub (in static and mobile formats). A feature of the hub is for audience/users to be able to submit a question.
The NZEA campaign is managed by Horizon Communication Group Pty Ltd (‘Horizon’) on behalf of the Net Zero Economy Agency (NZEA) an Executive Agency under the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. (‘The Department’).
This Privacy Notice explains what information is collected and disclosed when you submit a question from a Community Information Hub using Jotform.
Horizon will be handling your personal information in accordance with the Department’s Privacy Policy, and further details are contained in that policy.
Where that personal information is provided to NZEA as a result of your interaction with this site it will be handled by Horizon and the NZEA in accordance with that policy.
Collection of personal information
When you ask a question through a Community Information Hub, whether using a mobile or static device, your name, email address and any other information submitted by you will be collected and stored on a secure database.
The information will only be used for the purpose for which you provide it, and your email address will not be used for any other purpose, such as a mailing list or for research purposes, unless provided by you specifically for that purpose.
If you fail to provide a minimum level of information (usually marked with an asterisk and generally, an email address) you may not receive a reply to your question.
Disclosure
All reasonable measures to prevent unauthorised access to, or disclosure of, your personal information will be taken by Horizon and NZEA
Contracted service providers, such as Horizon and Jotform (and their subcontractors or agents who may be based in Australia or overseas) are contractually bound to observe the requirements of the Privacy Act 1988.
Your personal information will not be disclosed for a purpose other than the purpose for which it was given to us or where we are authorised to do so pursuant to the Privacy Act.
Some examples of when information may be provided to another person without your consent include in the event of an investigation into suspected unlawful or improper activity or when a law enforcement agency or government agency may exercise its legal authority to inspect the web server's records (e.g. in relation to hacking or abusive messages).
