The Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) oversees the implementation of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and works with the state and territory regulatory authorities to implement and administer the NQF.
To create a new brand which would inform and educate all Australians that quality childcare is high on the government’s agenda and that early childhood education and care benefits both the child and the community.
Horizon created a new brand from the ground up and facilitated messaging and positioning workshops with focus group testing to determine the precise vision, purpose and mission statements.
The new resource was launched on 29 April 2015 and included a website, social media channels and a suite of marketing collateral including a video animation, factsheets, flyers, posters and infographics.
Horizon implemented an integrated marketing communication campaign to raise awareness of the new resource and key messages. This involved stakeholder engagement, media relations, social media, content marketing and an on-ground activation at target exhibitions nationally.
OUTCOME received over 8,000 unique browsers within the first four weeks of launch, generating almost 30,000 page views with an average session time of three minutes. The Starting Blocks Facebook page today has over 26,000 likes, with approximately 500 of these likes received during the first week of launch. Our content received a high engagement in regards to likes, comments and shares with one infographic post resulting in a total of 103 shares. 
Horizon secured a media partnership with KidSpot for the launch and the first article published received high levels of engagement with an average session duration of over five minutes, demonstrating the target audience's high-level interest in our content and key messages.
Over 15 different pieces of marketing collateral were developed to support the campaign which were distributed both online and physically.
